Thailand in Brazil? What is happening?

I am from Belo Horizonte, MG. In 1997 my mom came to Christ and start praying for me that God will send people to share the Gospel with me and my brothers. One year later God sent Kent Baily (CO missionary) to Brazil and through him I got a chance to understand and grow in Gospel. My life was drastically changed by the grace of Christ and when a finished my Engineering course I joined the missionaries and the campus of UFMG to share this great love that rescued me from my own emptiness.

Brain Firpo (in the right) and his wife, missionaries in Thailand for fifteen years, visited us here in Brazil this month. Flavio, I and Brain (see the picture) went out to talk about our experiences sharing the Gospel to Brazilians and to Tai people. It was visionary to see his devotion to Christ and how he is commited to make Jesus know. He share with me the verse from Isaiah 9

“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.”

We talked about the real light that must shine in Thailand and Brazil so that we would walk in the light! Pray for us, Brazilians and Thai's.
