We have been encouraged!!!

It was a great time! God is so faithful! He did so much in our community in these 3 days. We heard a lot of testimonies and that really encouraged me! Personally I could say that I was tired and needing God’s encouragement. He did it! He blessed me with so many good conversations that I was filled. I am more convicted about going to the campus and sharing my life with the students

Our community (30 or more students) had a great time in of fellowship and in the Word. Colossians is such a good book to study because you can come back to Jesus and to Jesus alone as our God, Savior. He is supreme over all creation!

There was a student called Pedro that came to a community meeting for the first time. I shared a lot from my life with him. He is an electrical engineering student. Pray for Him that God will give him knowledge of Christ - that He will feel His love in a personal way!

Retreat next Weekend! Please pray for us!

Our community is preparing right now for a retreat that will happen on the 28th, 29th and 30th October. This retreat has the purpose to bring our community to a higher level of maturity and intimacy with the Lord.

Please pray this prayer that Paul has prayed for the Colossenses for our community.

“For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.”

Pray for Jean

Jean is a student from Civil Engineering and has been involved with our community since the Americans students (Cross Culture Program) came in May. Now we are studying the Gospel of John together and God is moving!
Pray that God will open his eyes so that he will see the Kingdom of God (Jo 3).

GOD HEARS PRAYER!

These last two weeks have been so amazing! I have learned so much from God! I want to say thank you to all who have prayed that I would be closer to God and that I would thirst and drink from Him. GOD HEARS PRAYER!

I had one of the greatest moments ever in the presence of God! He revealed great things of Himself to me. I have seen Him so closely that I could not stand; I’ve cried for Him and He showed me His presence, I’ve felt Him so strong in my heart. It was a moment where He touched me as strong as a storm. I was totally filled with the Holy Spirit and like the early Christians I was so convicted about His great Love and Grace. Great things happened through my life; He challenged people and encouraged others through me; He loved so many through my word and actions. Like the word says I was light and salt, my life showed a difference that made the world re-think how they could ever live without Christ.

God, I will always serve you. I will always come to You as my redeemer, my fount of life! By grace, I trust that You love me and fill my cup with your holy presence!
This is all that I need, YOU! I love YOU!

I want to drink God, deep draughts of God.

This Sunday I was invited to preach in my Church. My Church has been planted 5 years ago side by side with the ministry on Campus. So we have today a Church that is 70-80% students or recent graduates. That is awesome just to see that God is faithful to His callings and will prosper the way of His sons. I preached about our thirst for God. Psalm 42, 63 and Philippians 1:28 & 3:7-8. Pray for our Church, pray for leadership and direction.

Brief meditation on God

I am right now meditating on God’s joy. Is God sufficient for all my longings? When I don’t trust that, I run to idols that such all my life and treat me as a slave, make me come to him thousands and thousands times, but never get me to the place I wanted, to be satisfied. So I am totally frustrated and empty. But when by the Spirit of the Lord, I trust in Him and in His words that He is all sufficient to all my longings, I run like as a deer pants for flowing water, so pants my soul for God! And as I hoped I meet all my needs and thirst more for that kind of satisfaction in Him. God is my all in all! I love Him more than my life, and I want to give Him all worship and praise, because He is worthy! Praise the Lord all nations and come all that are hunger and thirsty, that He will feed them and give them the living water that will make him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life!

Pray for me that I will run to my God and make him my refuge and my salvation!
Pray that my community and disciples will thirst for God, and run to Him as their river of water.
