The power of the Gospel!!!

Hugo is my cousin! (He is in blue)
He lived with me several years and he has being a great friend. He is my roommate since January last year and it is amazing what GOD is doing in his life. It has being a privileged to be involved in his life!

See one of the things he is experiencing lately!

“I would like to talk a little about the Beach Project, what I learned and how God is transforming my life.
It was a good experience, I learned a lot about relationships, and how important relationships are to make us grow.
I’m going to emphasize a fact that marked me on the Project.
I had a conflict with a guy, and that was affecting me a lot. I didn’t want to reconcile, I was feeding my sin, and I was not doing what God was telling me to do, I didn’t trust in God.
This situation became worse; so I decide to obey God, believe in His power. I had a conversation with this guy, I said what I was feeling. It was hard, after the conversation I was frustrated because I though that it wasn’t a good conversation. But God blessed us to forgive each other and now we can grow in our relationship by God’s grace!”

I am back from the Beach Project!

The project is finished! The fruits are here with us, walking among us: Lifes that has being transformed to become more and more like Christ. He is our Lord and Savior; He is bringing life and purpose to our lives, His is bringing light and salt to all men that humble them selves to Him!

God is changing my life and at this time He is challenging me with a new role: to humble beyond the impossible: to Love like He loved, to care like He cared and to lead like He Leaded.

I am leading a community of student side by side with my staff partners and this has being challenging my faith to persever. I want to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and trust Him to lead me to the Truth in all my decisions and preparation to this semester. (The picture brings the guys that were at the beach project that are part of the community here in Belo Horizonte)

Take a minute and pray
for direction to lead the community
for my discipleship and guys that I am helping

Interesting picture of Discipleship Group from 1999

Kent and Jo has met me, Fernando and Luciano a long time ago (1998 and 1999). Since then we have being greatly impacted by His example of faith and servant hood. He is leading me and Fernando now on the mission field. Luciano is doing his master studies of mathematics and statistics. God has shown His power and grace among all this years to us. It was amazing to be with all this guys at the Beach Project this year!

See the picture:

Who is here at Saquarema!!!

There are tree of my disciples at the beach project. Leo, Guilherme Birro and Hugo. One guy that also came is Gilvan that became a Christian through one of my disciple, Flávio. All of them are having a growing and transforming time!

Pray that God will give them vision for a whole life living for Christ! That they will grow in grace and in the love of Jesus Christ!

How is it going?

Our beach project is going well! I am so excited abou t all God is doing among us and all the students that are here at Saquarema (city), Rio de Janeiro (state), Brazil. We are having much time at the Word and this is transforming my life. I am so excited to live by faith and so challenged to keep investing my life and strength in helping students to be laborers of the Kingdom for the lost world.

Please pray that God will bring us to brokenness and make us see His glory more and more.

Pray that I and Cristina (my girlfriend) will grow together in the plans that God is reveling to us. Pray for direction, humbleness to follow Him in all we do.
